Preparations

In final preparation for the Greek Festival, Committee Meetings will be held on Wednesdays, September 6th, September 13th, and September 20th at 6:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall coffee room.

We are happy to report that preparations for the festival are well on their way and this year looks to be even more exciting than last year. We are going to try some new approaches to old problems and see if we can make this year’s festival the best ever.

· We will have a sign up board in the Church. However, this year we would ask that you not sign up for a specific area, but rather let us know what times you are available. This way we can help out the areas that are understaffed.

· We are inviting all willing hands to help make Koulourakia on Monday Sept. 18 and Kourambiethes on Tuesday Sept. 19 starting at 9:30 am in the kitchen of the fellowship hall.

· On Tuesday Sept. 26 and Wednesday Sept. 27 we will be putting the pastries in paper cups in preparation for the festival, and again all willing hands are welcome.

· We have also realized that it is impossible for any one person to know everyone who is a member of our community and is donating their time to help during the festival. So, in order not to offend anyone, we are asking that all members who donate their time during the festival to see the committee chairpersons or the festival chairpersons for meal and drink tickets.

· We ask that everyone working during the festival please try to wear a current or old festival t-shirt. We have many visitors, with many questions, and this identifies us as members of the Greek community.

Again we look forward to a very successful and fun filled Greek Festival.
